All I can assure you is that; we are all experienced and professional musicians, somebclassically trained, some of us have played with name bands, orchestras and in West End musicals... We put one heck of a lot of effort in to our show.
The One Hit Wonders tribute band was formed in 2009 by singer Saul Wright and percussionist Steve Wyse who sort the best musicians and performers in their home county of Kent - "It was a struggle to get everyone onboard... We did it, and as well as enjoying playing as a band, One Hit Wonders are now close friends". What areas do you cover?
We are happy to play anywhere in Europe! The band is based in Southeast London and Kent. For venues more than 3 hours journey time from London, we do charge a fee for the overnight accommodation of 7 people. Can we hire you via an entertainment agency?
You can! The band 1 Hit Wonders are represented by two entertainments agencies, one in London, one in Kent. Booking direct saves around 15%-20%. What sound and lighting equipment will you bring?
The band supplies a high quality 3Kw Electro-Voice PA system and 12 x Par 64 LED spotlight rig (low power consuption - we won't blow any fuses) which is suitable for function rooms/small halls - up to 500 seats. It is difficult to give a quote without knowing a little about your event. Many things affect the cost of hiring the band including size and location of the venue, the length of time you would like us to play and any extra sound system/lighting etc., we'll need to bring.

The band performs at a wide variety of venues from clubs and function rooms to stately homes, theatres, halls etc. We also will play in a marquee or outside, undercover... weather permitting. What size stage does the band need?
A minimum of 22ft x 14ft is generally adequate. Extra space may be required for lighting and PA speaker systems.
How long do you need to set up?
Our basic set up generally takes around 1.5 hours. In larger venues where we have extra sound and lighting equipment, we would prefer 2-3 hours. Band booking & contracts?
As a token of goodwill and your commitment to your event, we require an advance fee of 25%. If for any reason you need to cancel, provided you give us at least 14 days notice then your deposit will be refunded. Less than 14 days and no refund will be made. Parking?
Band members live in different parts of London and Kent, and although we share vehicles, we do need parking for 3 vehicles - 2 vans and 2 cars. Venues of over 500 seats we will have 4 vans and 2 cars.
